Where art meets food

Charcuterie boards (shar-KOO-ta-REE) are all the rage these days and rightly so. Steeped in a centuries-old tradition, charcuterie is enjoying a renaissance as today’s boards represent “art meets food.”

Charcuterie is a French term for prepared meat products, originally intended to preserve meat before the advent of refrigeration. In addition to a wide range of meats, you will also find an assortment of cheeses, fruits, artisan breads and crackers, olives and spreads such as honey, preserves or jams.

Today, they are prepared for their fine art forms as much as they are for the pleasure of the palate. No matter the occasion, Charcuties (a term for those who prepare charcuterie) impress and delight us with their unique and tasty creations.

Locally, we have well-seasoned and talented charcuterie that have changed the way we graze.
