How to Add an Extension to Chrome
To add an extension to Chrome, you need to find the extension you want to add in the Chrome web store. Here’s what you need to do:
1. Open Chromium then navigate to Chrome Online Store.
2. Find or find the extension you want to add to Chrome. Click on the extension to open its details page.
3. Click on Add to Chrome. In the pop-up window, click Add extension.
4. After a while, the extension will be added to Chrome. Some extensions require you to configure certain settings or sign in to an account. If there are additional instructions, follow them now.
5. Find the extension in Chrome. To do this, click on the Extensions in the toolbar (it looks like a puzzle piece) and find the new extension in the popup list.

Quick advice: To pin the extension to the toolbar so that it is always clickable, click the icon Pin to the right of the extension name in the Extensions drop-down list.
How to Disable a Chrome Extension
If you want to temporarily disable a Chrome extension – maybe it conflicts with other software or you want to stop everything it does – you can disable it without uninstalling it.
1. Click it Extensions in the toolbar (it looks like a puzzle piece) then click Manage extensions at the bottom of the list of extensions.
2. Find the extension you want to disable.
3. Click it button at the bottom right of the extension’s info box so that it slides to the left and changes from blue to white.

Quick advice: You can come back here and re-enable a disabled extension using the same button.
How to remove a chrome extension
If you want to permanently remove an extension from Chrome, either because you no longer need it or because it causes incompatibility with other software, you can do so with just a few clicks.
1. Click it Extensions in the toolbar (it looks like a puzzle piece) then click Manage extensions at the bottom of the list of extensions.
2. Find the extension you want to remove.
3. At the bottom of the extension’s info area, click To delete. Confirm that you want to do this by clicking To delete in the pop-up window.
