What is the difference between cache and cookies?

You may have heard these terms used interchangeably, when in reality they mean different things. The cache was developed to store site settings, which is why you may have noticed that websites you open frequently take less time now than the first time you opened them. Cookies, on the other hand, are used to store user choices.

Since caches are there to decrease loading time and save site content, they are only stored on your system. While cookies are stored both on the system and on the server. As a result, cookies will take up less space than caches.

That’s it!
