How do you remove old URLs and searches from the Google Chrome bar?

On a computer, start typing what you want to search for. If a URL appears that you don’t want, hover your mouse over it and click the x button on the far right to remove the suggestion.

Alternatively, and this also works for non-URL suggestions, you can hover over anything that appears in the top bar, then press Shift + Delete.
