Kimblewick, located at Towne Road and 151st Street, is Del Webb’s first development in Westfield. Resort-style community for adults 55 and older feels tucked away from the bustling city, but it‘s close to restaurants, banks, grocery stores and more. Open since spring 2021, it will eventually have a 13,000 square foot clubhouse and nearly 500 accommodations.
The community is geared towards people who want to live life to the fullest with friends and neighbors. Residents can enjoy scheduled activities and events knowing that lawn and landscape care is for them. Another advantage is the new construction with minimal maintenance worries.
Del Webb is a brand of PulteGroup, a national home building company. He has a reputation for building quality homes with many options and features. The floor plans offered at Kimblewick are from the GenYou Collection, which is new to the Indianapolis-area market.
Floor plans were developed based on extensive research and consumer feedback. They have been designed with practical features that emphasize convenience and comfort. The end results are flexible homes and evoke a sense of beauty and livability.
“The community is themed around horse racing,” says John Van Beynen, vice president of sales for the Indianapolis and Louisville division. “It offers three different series of houses – Keeneland, Belmont and Churchill. There are multiple floor plans in each series. Home sizes range from 1,502 to 2,754 square feet.
The Keeneland Series reflects luxurious ranch-style living. The kitchens have large islands and connected dining areas. Meeting rooms have an open and spacious feel. The master suites are hidden for more privacy.
For those embracing an updated open-concept layout, the Belmont Series is a perfect fit. Kitchens are perfect for entertaining and become the place where everyone wants to be. The great owner’s suites are sure to impress.
The exclusive Churchill series has many innovative features, including huge meeting rooms. Car enthusiasts and collectors will be delighted with its three-car garage option. Owners will not lack for storage space and will certainly appreciate the number of flexible spaces.
“Each house includes a lot, but some lots are considered premium, such as those on a pond, and therefore incur an additional cost,” says Van Beynen. “The floor plans are varied. Buyers can choose between two and four bedrooms and between two and four and a half bathrooms. There are many color palettes to choose from.
Del Webb’s neighborhoods are well known for the sense of community that their signature lifestyle fosters. Kimblewick employs a lifestyle director who coordinates many clubs and activities such as guided hikes and pickleball teams, or outings to group sporting events. Relationships are built through these opportunities.
“Residents move into Del Webb communities because they want to live where they play,” says Van Beynen. “They want people nearby who they can play with. They are able to meet people with common interests. These neighborhoods really become communities.
The clubhouse amenity center is slated to open in the spring of 2023. It’s impressive not only for its size, but also for all it has to offer. In addition to an outdoor pool for recreation, lap swimming and a spa, there is an indoor pool and a fully equipped fitness center. Outside, sports fields are provided for pickleball, tennis and petanque. In the planning phase, an indoor golf simulator and cafe bar. Decorated with taste, the center will be the place of events and community meetings.
The beautifully landscaped setting is perfect for group walks or even a chance for independent individual time. Dog walkers and birdwatchers love the lakes and nature trails. Several parks are located within the compound and include dedicated areas for yoga, butterflies, and dogs.
Kimblewick’s models and sales office are open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sales have been rapid and 150 homes have been sold so far. Kimblewick joins another Del Webb community located in Hamilton County, Britton Falls in Fishers. Residential lots sold very quickly in Britton Falls and Kimblewick is expected to do the same. Interested buyers are encouraged to come to the neighborhood and visit the models and the sales office.
Del Webb Communities is dedicated to providing adults 55 and older with well-constructed homes in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Residents feel on vacation 365 days a year. If you want to live in a place full of active and interesting people, come see Kimblewick.
