OnePlus partners with JioPages to deliver safer, personalized browsing on OnePlus TVs
Chinese original equipment manufacturer OnePlus has announced a partnership with JioPages that will provide a faster, ad-free browsing experience for OnePlus TV users.
JioPages will provide an improved browsing experience for OnePlus TV users through faster Chromium engine migration to catch up with new web trends and secure browsing experience.
“The new collaboration offers the integration of JioPages, a faster, more secure and personalized browser for TV screens, with its OnePlus TVs,” OnePlus said in a statement.

“JioPages will provide…best-in-class webpage rendering along with a consistent desktop-like experience on TV screens, combined with smoother mouse navigation and voice search, and a built-in Adblocker for easy browsing. uninterrupted and efficient media streaming experience.”
OnePlus, through this partnership, aims to deliver faster rendering of web pages as well as a consistent desktop-like experience, voice search, and smoother mouse navigation on TV screens.
Boasting two new features – VPN and Safe Mode – the latest iteration of JioPages will allow OnePlus TV users to access global content without any hindrance. The built-in security mechanism will ensure no third-party tracking and unnecessary browser advertisements. Regional language support will also allow users to browse in Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, and Gujarati.
OnePlus TV users can also browse top sites in different categories with just one click and add their favorite websites to the home screen as quick links. With this feature, a wide variety of Jio-specific content including JioCinema, JioMart, and JioSaavn will be just a click away. OnePlus users will also have access to curated videos across all categories with personalized recommendations.

Users will be able to choose from three browsing modes – Standard, Private, and student-friendly study. Study Mode offers per-class curation of educational content as well as suggested channels per topic.
OnePlus has seen over 300% year-on-year growth, emerging among the top five smart TV brands in Q4 2021 in India, according to a report by Counterpoint Research.
