The BLACK Wellness and Prosperity Center will release several resources ahead of Black Maternal Health Week

FRESNO, California, UNITED STATES, April 5, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — BLACK Wellness & Prosperity Center, a catalyst for improving the well-being and prosperity of the Black community, released new resources for pregnant women before Black Maternal Health Week (BMHW).

“Black Maternal Health Week is a critical time to raise awareness, deepen the national conversation, and amplify all the great efforts being made in our minority communities to provide better maternal care,” said Shantay Davies-Balch, CEO and Founder of BLACK Wellness & Prosperity Center. “Black infant mortality and preterm birth rates are incredibly high and we are focused on raising awareness and practical solutions to reduce them.”

BMHW runs April 11-17, and the BLACK Wellness & Prosperity Center is hosting events to help raise awareness of valuable new print and electronic resources that highlight evidence-based results. Materials range from statistics to solutions for better maternal care in the black community.
